Committee Information
Program Committee
The Program Committee selects the topics for our luncheon and brown bag programs. They brainstorm traditional as well as out-of-the-box ideas that will be interesting and important for the members. The virtual or in-person monthly programs are at the core of SSPGC’s educational offerings. They meet on the 3rd Friday of the month from 8:00-9:00 AM via Zoom.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee actively seeks to expand and engage its network by recruiting professional advisors and nonprofit leaders to SSPGC. They strive to create a diverse and vibrant community of members who are dedicated to promoting philanthropy and educating others about the benefits of planned giving. They meet on the 2nd Friday of the month from 8:30-9:30 AM via Zoom.
Leave 10 Steering Committee
The Leave 10 Steering Committee works to advance the goals of the Leave 10 South Sound initiative by increasing awareness of planned giving and encouraging individuals to include charitable gifts in their estate plans. They focus on spreading the message throughout the community and recruiting Champions who are willing to help promote and normalize legacy giving. The committee strives to build a strong network of advocates who support long-term philanthropic impact across the region. They meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 4:00-5:00 PM via Zoom.
Development & Marketing Committee
The Marketing and Development Committee is established to support the mission and vision of the SSPGC by overseeing and guiding the organization’s marketing, fundraising, and development efforts. The committee aims to enhance the organization’s visibility, attract and retain donors, and ensure sustainable financial growth. They meet on the 2nd Monday of the month from 2:30-3:30 PM via Zoom.
Sound Sound Philanthropy Summit Planning Committee
This committee is responsible for coordinating the logistics and execution of SSPGC’s South Sound Philanthropy Summit. They oversee key planning elements including venue coordination, program scheduling, speaker support, sponsorship fulfillment, and day-of event operations to ensure a successful and engaging experience. They work collaboratively with partner organizations to deliver a high-quality event that brings together professionals across the philanthropic community for education, networking, and inspiration. They meet via Zoom in the months leading up to the event, with meeting frequency increasing as the event approaches.
“A Day With” Planning Committee
This committee is responsible for coordinating the logistics of SSPGC’s signature “A Day With” event. They oversee event planning details including venue coordination, registration management, sponsorship fulfillment, and day-of event operations to ensure a seamless and successful experience for attendees. They work collaboratively to create a professional, engaging event that supports SSPGC’s educational and networking goals. They meet via Zoom in the months leading up to the event, with meeting frequency increasing as the event approaches.
