South Sound Philanthropy Summit
Uniting to Unleash the Power of Philanthropy
Uniting to Unleash the Power of Philanthropy
Each year in September, SSPGC works with the Association of Fundraising Professionals South Sound Chapter to produce the South Sound Philanthropy Summit. Traditionally, the Summit brings together 150-plus professionals representing all aspects of the philanthropic community, including fundraising, financial, legal, accounting, estate planning, and nonprofits to provide continuing education, inspiration and community. The Summit can be a benefit to all nonprofit professionals, board members, and volunteers throughout the South Sound region.
The South Sound Philanthropy Summit is on pause in 2026, and there will not be a Summit event held this year.
After several successful years, we are taking time to listen to members, partners, and past attendees about what would make a future Summit most valuable for their time and resources.
Producing the Summit has required significant staff and partner capacity. Stepping back in 2026 gives us the space to recalibrate how, and whether, the Summit can be produced in a more sustainable way, while also considering how our field and region are continuing to change.
During this year, we will invite perspectives from across our community to help shape what the Summit could look like going forward. To share your thoughts, please take this brief survey.
While the Summit is on pause in 2026, we will stay connected by sharing other events and opportunities to engage across our organizations throughout the year. We look forward to sharing more as plans for the future take shape.
