Leave 10: Leave 10 South Sound is a movement created by local donors, nonprofits, and professional advisors to educate, encourage and inspire people in South Sound to leave at least 10% of their estates to charity. Join us in this unprecedented effort to increase charitable estate giving and positively transform the landscape of social causes in the Puget Sound forever.

South Sound Philanthropy Summit: The Philanthropy Summit co-presented by SSPGC and AFP-South Sound traditionally brings together 150-plus professionals representing all aspects of the philanthropic community, including fundraising, financial, legal, accounting, estate planning, foundations, and nonprofits. If your business involves working with individuals and families interested in philanthropy and the power it has to transform our community… If you are inspired to serve, support, and celebrate the people and organizations shoring up our community right now… If you want to promote the connection people are longing for… then a sponsorship for the South Sound Philanthropy Summit is an opportunity you can’t afford to pass up.

Committee membership is a great way to build your planned giving network, make suggestions, have a voice in the direction of the South Sound Planned Giving Council, and expand your knowledge of the field.
To get involved or if you have questions, contact SSPGC at sspgcouncil@gmail.com.
The Program Committee selects the topics for our luncheon and brown bag programs. They brainstorm traditional as well as out-of-the-box ideas that will be interesting and important for the members. The virtual or in-person monthly programs are at the core of SSPGC’s educational offerings. The committee meets for an hour each month by zoom.
The Membership Committee is responsible for the recruitment and retention of members. SSPGC has a unique and important role in the South Sound area and intends to spread the word of joining more broadly. The committee brainstorms creative ways to market SSPGC. We are interested in expanding outreach to more prospects in Thurston, Mason, Kitsap, and the broader Pierce County areas.
You may also volunteer to assist with other activities, from supporting the South Sound Philanthropy Summit to running the registration table at our formal luncheons when we’re in person again or offering to host one of our Free Brown Bag meetings at your organization.
SSPGC hosts job postings for nonprofit firms. Check our job board or learn how to send us a listing.
