Committees and Volunteer Opportunities

Committee membership is a great way to build your planned giving network, make suggestions, have a voice in the direction of the South Sound Planned Giving Council, and expand your knowledge of the field.

To get involved or if you have questions, contact SSPGC at office@sspgcouncil.org.

Program Committee

The Program Committee selects the topics for our luncheon and brown bag programs.  They brainstorm traditional as well as out-of-the-box ideas that will be interesting and important for the members.  The virtual or in-person monthly programs are at the core of SSPGC’s educational offerings.  The committee meets for an hour each month by zoom.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for the recruitment and retention of members.  SSPGC has a unique and important role in the South Sound area and intends to spread the word of joining more broadly.  The committee brainstorms creative ways to market SSPGC.  We are interested in expanding outreach to more prospects in Thurston, Mason, Kitsap, and the broader Pierce County areas.

Other Volunteer Opportunities

You may also volunteer to assist with other activities, from supporting the South Sound Philanthropy Summit to running the registration table at our formal luncheons when we’re in person again or offering to host one of our Free Brown Bag meetings at your organization.

SSPGC has 501(c)(3) status and is registered Nonprofit in with the State of Washington
