Greater Tacoma Community Foundation just spent a year and research resources to create the Transfer of Wealth Study for Pierce County. It is the update to the one they commissioned 10 years ago. The information is both surprising and immediately useful.
But knowing who has the money is just the beginning. The discussion on what can be done with some of that wealth at the very moment it transitions from one family member to another, may be the key to unlocking a brighter future for the community through the causes and the nonprofits that resonate with the donor. Did you know most people never HAVE the conversation regarding the power they have to effect change in the South Sound? Which means they don’t know the greater good they could be part of? It’s up to us to change that.
Professional Advisors and Fundraisers – we all work beside donors in the South Sound who live at the crossroads between having a positive impact on the community and using their resources in the most efficient, wisest way. It is where philanthropy meets practicality.
